Gone Off Deep Presents
Gone Off Deep opted not to pursue this month’s Sundance Film Festival, focusing our attention instead on the increasingly prestigious South By Southwest Festival in Austin.
Producer Mike Wilson summed the situation up thusly:
"After careful consideration and a look at Sundance's choices for the documentary competition from the past several festivals, we realized that our film was neither particularly homosexual or Palestinian in nature, and that it was perhaps better suited for Austin's own SXSW festival, where a focus on freaks and slackers is actually a good thing. With any luck, we'll get to premiere the finished version here in March. For now, I'm heading to Sundance anyway, if only to see if I can finally see if Paris Hilton can take a punch like her sister."
