With BURNING MAN: BEYOND BLACK ROCK nearing completion, we at Gone Off Deep felt like it was time the film had a brand-spankin’ new home of its own. And, baby, have we got one!
Earlier tonight we unveiled our Official Movie Site: beyondblackrock.com. The site features a beautiful new Flash design by David H. Cash and is the definitive resource for the definitive Burning Man film.
Here’s just some of what you’ll find at our new site:
THE MOVIE
“The Movie” is an overview of the story that BEYOND BLACK ROCK tells, along with insights into our 18 months with Burners, organizers and artists and the incredible interviews and footage we came away with.
This is also the place to download our most recent trailer: “STRANGE BUT TRUE!”

THE EDITING ROOM: Clips Ahoy!
THE EDITING ROOM
“The Editing Room” is home to our sneak peeks, clips we’ll be “leaking” as we move toward the final cut. There are currently five clips from which to choose, from scenes of artists to the raising of The Man.
Check this section often, as we’ll be adding new clips on a regular basis.
IMAGE GALLERY
“THE IMAGE GALLERY” features still photographs from Burning Man 2001, 2002 and 2003 by photographers Andrea Schneider, Bill Nadalini and our director, Damon Brown.
ABOUT US
“About Us” is an introduction to Gone Off Deep Productions and how we came to be - along with information on how to contact us.
THE CREW
“The Crew” lets you get to know the talented people behind the production of BEYOND BLACK ROCK, from the director and producers, to videographers, photographers, music and sound specialists and consultants.

MAILING LIST
Information on upcoming screenings and festivals will be coming fast and furious very soon, so we’ve set up a mailing list. So while you’re at the site, join up to keep up with the latest events and news.
We’re very proud of the new site and look forward to it being a solid companion to the film.
We’d like to thank David for sharing his talents and vision to create a great online experience for our visitors. We’d also like to thank Kirk Brown for his technical support.
